I want to express my sincere gratitude to the people of Lewiston for allowing me the opportunity to work alongside Rep. Heidi Brooks in the 127th Maine Legislature.
Rep. Brooks has been a passionate advocate for the people of Lewiston. She has shown determination and compassion in her advocacy on their behalf, especially seniors and children.
Her work to help a local, family-owned pharmacy also deserves recognition. A new law she submitted in the past session will close loopholes that generate massive profits for large national corporations at the expense of small Maine pharmacies such as Bedard’s in Auburn.
I am excited for Rep. Brooks to continue her great work in the 128th Legislature.
Thank you for such an excellent colleague.
Rep. Sara Gideon, Freeport
