LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Joyce E. Baillargeon was celebrated Saturday morning, July 9, by the Rev. Timothy Nadeau at Holy Family Church of the Prince of Peace Parish following prayers at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home.

At the beginning of Mass, Joyce’s husband, Andre, and her daughter, Kathy, draped Joyce’s casket with a white burial pall that signify’s Joyce’s Baptism into a new spiritual life with God.

Joyce’s son, Andy, proclaimed a reading from the Old Testament. The Prayer of the Faithful was recited by grandson, Ryan Baillargeon. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Joyce’s husband, Andre, and their granddaughters, Emily Mason and Nicole Butler. Words of Remembrance were shared by Joyce’s sister-in-law, Karen Baillargeon, who also recited the poem “Lighthouse” as a tribute to Joyce.

Following a funeral procession to St. Peter’s Cemetery, the Rev. Nadeau recited committal prayers to conclude services. The pallbearers were Rob Kolodzej, Tom Diebold, Ryan and Zachary Baillargeon, Kimberly Krebs and Jeremy Butler.
