DIXFIELD — The Regional School Unit 10 board this week approved a search for a half- or full-time behavioral interventionist, a full-time special education teacher and an educational technician.
Superintendent Craig King said finding an appropriate behavioral interventionist could be difficult.
“Everyone is looking for these positions,” he said. Perhaps officials could check with the local college for a qualified person, he said.
The board also granted approval for a first reading of a policy on actions related to the management of concussions.
“This is a whole new world,” King said. “Coaches, parents and administrators must have knowledge about concussions.”
Appointed for the 2016-17 school year were Brandi Ledesma as a part-time secretary at Rumford Elementary School and Brianna Palmer as an educational technician at Dirigo Elementary School.
