1941 – 2016

LEWISTON — Alphonse N. Derosier Jr., 74, of Lewiston passed away Saturday, July 9, at Montello Manor.

He was born in Lewiston on Nov. 11, 1941, a son of the late Alphonse and Ida Derosier.

Alphonse worked for many years as a carpenter and floor-covering installer. He enjoyed camping, fishing and sports on TV.

Alphonse is survived by his daughters, Sheila Davis of Livermore, and Kathy Tremblay of Lewiston; a son, Michael and Leena Derosier of Norridgewock. He also leaves sisters, Connie Harvey and husband, Al, of Lewiston, and Paulette Lee of Sabattus; a brother, Paul Derosier of Sabattus; as well as seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Alphonse was predeceased by his parents; and a sister, Irene Bingelis.
