AUBURN — City Council workshop and regular meeting in the City Council Chamber on the second floor of Auburn Hall. The workshop begins at 5:30 p.m. with topics that include industrial park income, a meeting with sewerage district trustees and scheduling a vote on Lewiston-Auburn consolidation. The regular meeting begins at 7 p.m. and topics include woodlot management, EMS charges, industrial park income and waiving fees for a charity flea market.

TUESDAY, July 19

AUBURN — Sewerage District trustees meeting, 4 p.m. in the Auburn Water/Sewer District offices at 268 Court St. Agenda includes the closure of Cascades Auburn Fiber, project updates and apportionment and financial reports.

AUBURN— Auburn Conservation Commission meeting at 6 p.m. in Room 204 on the second floor of Auburn Hall.

WEDNESDAY, July 20

AUBURN — Water District trustees meeting, 4 p.m. in the Auburn Water/Sewer District offices at 268 Court St. Agenda includes closure of Cascades Auburn Fiber, water quality studies, emergency preparedness exercises and Lake Auburn water quality.

AUBURN — Community Farmers Market, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the Riverwalk behind Festival Plaza.

AUBURN — Public hearing on potential changes to the intersection of Townsend Brook Road and Route 4 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chamber of Auburn Hall. The city is considering making Townsend Brook Road one way at the southern end and prohibiting northbound left turns from Route 4, which could reduce rear-end collisions.

AUBURN — The Auburn Community Concert Band, conducted by Milt Simon, will continue its 35th season at 7 p.m. in Festival Plaza with the program titled “American Idols.” The performance is free and open to the public. In case of rain, the event will move to The Dolard & Priscilla Gendron Franco Center, 46 Cedar St., Lewiston.

AUBURN— Regular meeting of the Transportation and Environment Committee of the City Council at 6 p.m. in the Community Room on the second floor of Auburn Hall.
