LEWISTON — The Thread Theater’s next monthly creative throwdown is on Thursday, July 21, at The Dolard & Priscilla Gendron Franco Center, 46 Cedar St.

The doors open at 6:30 p.m. for happy hour and open mic for musicians and comedians. The show begins at 7:30.

The theme for July is America.

The event may contain adult content, and is often not appropriate for youths. Those who attend should be accompanied by an adult or have permission to attend.

Cost is $5. All proceeds benefit the Franco Center. The Thread Theater is wheelchair-accessible.
