RANGELEY — The Rangeley Friends of the Arts presents Tim & Sarah Macek and Friends: A Chamber Music Concert, at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Rangeley on Wednesday, July 27, at 7 p.m.
Professional violinists and Rangeley seasonal residents Tim and Sarah Macek join fellow musicians from Washington D.C. and New York in this chamber music performance. On the program are works by Mozart, Beethoven, Kreisler, Rubinoff, Osborne, Milhaud and Shostakovich.
The Maceks are natives of the Washington, D.C. area and perform regularly at the Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap Park for the Performing Arts and many other area musical venues. They will be performing with two colleagues and friends who will be visiting with them in Rangeley: Morrie Sherry, clarinet and Gaylien Chun, piano.
Admission is $15 / $10 for 18 and under. Tickets are available in advance online at www.rangeleyarts.org, click on the “Buy Tickets” tab. Tickets will also be available at the door. The Church of the Good Shepherd is located at 2614 Main St.
