WILTON — Public memorial services for Richard “Dick” Fairbanks of Weld were held Friday afternoon, July 22, from the Calvary Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Barry Trask officiating.

Cheryl Small was the pianist. Congregational hymns included “When We All Get to Heaven” and “How Great Thou Art.” Two of his daughters, Debbie McKinney and Linda Lou Fairbanks, offered personal eulogies. His twin grandsons, Drew and Greg Winningham, sang “The Eastern Gate” a cappella.

Following services a comfort reception was held in the church undercroft, hosted by the church hospitality committee. Private family committal prayers were held at Lakeview Cemetery, Wilton, at the close of the day.
