I am writing in support of Kimberly Sampson for the Maine Senate. I had the pleasure of meeting her and was instantly impressed by her warmth and knowledge of the important issues facing Mainers.
As a resident of District 20, it has been impossible to ignore that the community is facing some significant challenges with regard to health care. Whether it is a lack of access to mental health supports or to drug treatment services, many of the community’s vulnerable citizens are not receiving the help they need.
That is why I was pleased to learn that Sampson strongly supports accepting existing federal funds for health care for Mainers. These funds would undoubtedly help combat the devastating health crises in Maine.
I will support Kimberly Sampson in November. Maine needs leaders like her who will fight for Maine’s vulnerable populations and who will get this state back on the right track.
