AUBURN — As part of its 75th anniversary celebration, Saint Dominic Academy invites all students and teachers who attended Catholic elementary and high school in Lewiston, Auburn and surrounding areas to a grand reunion weekend titled Ministry in Education on Aug. 13 and 14.

On Aug. 13, reunions will be held at Saint Dominic Academy’s Auburn Campus from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by a special recognition ceremony. On Aug. 14, Bishop Robert P. Deeley will celebrate a special Mass at noon at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Lewiston.

Since the 19th century, educators have generously shared their talents and knowledge at many schools in the area, including: College of St. Paul, Asylum of Notre Dame of Lourdes, Dominican Block, Healy Asylum for Boys, St. Joseph Orphanage for Girls, Holy Cross, Holy Family, Sacred Heart, St. Bernadette, St. Joseph, St. Louis, St. Mary, St. Patrick, St. Peter, Ave Marie Academy, Cours Superieurs, Our Lady of the Rosary, Trinity Catholic, and St. Dominic High School, which is now Saint Dominic Academy.
