LEWISTON — Lewiston Public Schools has announced that it is enrolling students for the 2016-2017 pre-kindergarten class. 

Upon registration, parents and guardians will need to present required documentation: official birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residency. 

Children must have been born between Oct. 16, 2011, and Oct. 15, 2012. If the child was not born in the U.S., an I-94 or green card must be shown.

To show proof of residency, parents or guardians must show their driver’s license with school appropriate address, lease or rent agreement, utility bills or mortgage agreement.

District schools are: 

• Farwell Elementary School: 84 Farwell St., 207-795-4110.

• Raymond A. Geiger Elementary School: 601 College St., 207-795-4160.

• Gov. James B. Longley Elementary School: 145 Birch St., 207-795-4120.

• Thomas J. McMahon Elementary School: 151 North Temple St., 207-795-4140.

• Montello School: 407 East Ave., 207-795-4150.
