WILTON — Police said a teenager was accidentally hit by a pellet while he and another teen were using air guns Tuesday afternoon on a family property on High Street.
The boy received what appeared to be a superficial injury to the stomach and was taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital to be checked, Wilton Police Chief Heidi Wilcox.
Wilton Police and a NorthStar ambulance responded to the scene.
The case is under investigation, she said.
