LEWISTON — A new class from Lewiston Adult Education will give students office and customer service skills to prepare them for potential jobs.
But first they must sign up for orientation and interviews set for later in August.
Getting enrolled takes two steps, taking the CASAS exam and going through the orientation and interview process.
Lewiston Adult Education has two dates set for orientation and interviews. They are from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at Lewiston Adult Education’s office at Lewiston High School and from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Aug. 31, at the B Street Community Center on 57 Birch St. in Lewiston.
The 12-week, no cost Certificate Program is set to begin Monday, Sept. 19. Students will learn communication skills along with Microsoft Word and Excel training.
They will have an opportunity to job shadow with a local employer. After a successful completion of the program, they will have a guaranteed interview a local staffing agency.
