Lion of Judah hosting ‘God Alive’

RUMFORD — Lion of Judah Ministries will host God Alive from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, on three fields in Rumford.

There will be worship and praise, prayer and fellowship, food and fun for the kids.

Mass for Educators Aug. 28

BRUNSWICK — Bishop Robert P. Deeley will celebrate a Mass for Educators at 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, at St. John the Baptist Church on 39 Pleasant St.

Teachers, professors, administrators, and staff from pre-kindergarten to the collegiate level as well as teachers of religious education are invited to attend the Mass with their families. A reception will follow the Mass and provide the opportunity for teachers from different schools and settings to form relationships and offer appreciation for their shared vocation.
