HARTFORD — “We die, and then what?” will be the question asked at the Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Camp from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at 1190 Main St.

This workshop explores the soul’s intelligent capacity to detach and reconnect. Based on Dr. Michael Newton’s decades of case histories collected under hypnosis, participants will delve into easy-to-understand descriptions of what occurs during the death process and how souls and personal identities are supported through the experience.

A potluck will be served after the workshop.

Laura Lee Perkins will serve as the medium at the Message Circle, which begins at 6 p.m.

Perkins, MS, is a certified medium, member of the Harrison D. Barrett Spiritualist Church in Bangor and lifelong educator and author. She serves on the board of directors for the Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Camp and the Alex Tanous Foundation for Scientific Research. Her philosophy embraces that the purpose of life is for the soul and personality to meld, which can be accomplished only through deep spiritual work.

In her message circles, laughter is often heard echoing through the building. Her spiritual development classes offer experiential processes for expanding spiritual connections. Perkins plays and teaches Native American flute and has recorded albums with her flutemaker husband, Ken Green.

The cost to attend is a $25 donation. Advanced registration is recommended as space is limited.
