DURHAM — A man from Auburn who was involved in a motorcycle crash Saturday evening succumbed to his injuries Sunday, said Androscoggin County Deputy Travis Lovering.

Kenneth Kilby, 77, of Auburn, was driving his black 1988 Harley-Davidson motorcycle at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday when he veered off Newell Brook Road and crashed. 

He wasn’t wearing a helmet.

Kilby was in critical condition at the scene and was taken to Central Maine Medical Center by Lisbon Emergency ambulance service.
