STRONG — The Strong Historical Society will hold its regular meeting Wednesday, Sept. 7, at the Hammond Memorial House, 79 North Main St.

Doors open at 5 p.m. for those who wish to tour the house. There will be a potluck supper at 6 p.m., and those attending are asked to bring a dish. The brief business meeting will be at 7 p.m., followed by guest speaker Douglas Alan Walrath of Strong. He will discuss his new novel, “Naked Believer.” There may also be a book sale and signing.
