1950 – 2016
AUBURN — Patricia A. Mondor, 66, of Sabattus died on Monday, Sept. 5, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin, following a long courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Portland on April 6, 1950, the daughter of the late Phillip and Virginia (Melville) Skillin and had been a resident of this community for most of her life. She was educated in South Portland schools and was a graduate of South Portland High School, Class of 1968.
She had been employed as a manager assistant for Verizon. Patricia enjoyed crocheting, cooking, gardening and traveling.
She is survived by her husband, Donald H. Mondor, whom she married on Jan. 20, 1973, of Sabattus; two sons, Christopher Mondor of northern Maine and Michael Mondor of Lewiston; three brothers, Phillip and Richard Skillin, both of California, and Robert Skillin of Biddeford; one sister, Elaine Leavitt of Georgia; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
