RUMFORD—A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated for Rejeanne M. “Jean” Kenny of Peru on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 11 a.m. at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius – St. John Church, Rumford, with the Rev. Nathan March as celebrant. Altar assistant was Bernard Poirier and organist was Mark Belanger. Music selections included “Be Not Afraid,” “Amazing Grace,” On Eagle’s Wings” and “Eye has Not Seen.” The Eulogy was given by her son, Lenny Kenny Jr. Readings from the Old Testament from the Book of the Prophet Isaiah and the New Testament from the Second Letter of Paul to the Corinthians were proclaimed by Amelia Doherty. The Prayer from the Faithful was given by Amelia Doherty. The gifts were presented by her children, Katharine Kenny and Tim Kenny. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader & Son Funeral Home,  3 Franklin St., Rumford.
