1947 – 2016
AUBURN — Brenda Dodge Carro, 69, of Oxford, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 7, at the Hospice House, with her family by her side.
She was born in Newport City, Vt., on April 5, 1947, the daughter of Roland Duquette and Doris Bisson. She had been employed at Paris Manufacturing, Wilner Wood Products, Sugarloaf, Norway Footwear, Cooper Farms, Ames, Stratton Motel and was a baby sitter.
She enjoyed camping, fishing, going to the ocean, playing cards with friends and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Lisa and Greg Durgin of South Paris, Teresa Sessions and significant other, Alton Chesley, of Oxford, Melissa and Ryan Sessions of West Paris, Chipper and Karen Dodge of West Paris, Lori and John Gagne of Waterford, Michael Carro of South Paris, Caleb and Mindy Carro of Bridgton and Maggie and Phil Taylor of Nantucket, Mass.; 23 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Melody and Mark Havener; and brothers, Terry and Maxine Burns and Jeff Burns.
She was predeceased by two husbands, Charles Dodge Jr. and Wayne Carro; her daughter, Michelle Carro Moran; and a son-in-law, Albert Scott Sessions.
