PORTLAND — New England Celtic Arts will present the highly-acclaimed Boston-based Goodbye Girls for one show only at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, at One Longfellow Square in Portland. The Goodbye Girls are a new quartet from the U.S., Canada and Sweden. The band was formed out of a common love for old-time, traditional bluegrass and Swedish traditional music. Lena Jonsson on fiddle, Allison deGroot on banjo, Brittany Karlson on bass and Molly Tuttle on guitar and lead vocals create a sound that is exciting, fresh and full of energy.
