Judith Grover Tent #17, Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, 1861-1865 would like to invite the public to the dedication of a new headstone for Asa Thurlow, a Revolutionary War veteran. This replaces one that was illegible and broken.
The ceremony will take place at the Curtis Hill Cemetery, South Woodstock on Sept. 18 at 2 p.m. FMI call Sally Sawyer at 665-2641.
