1925 – 2016

GRAND RAPIDS, Minn. — Patricia E. Peterson, 90, of Cohasset, Minn., and formerly of Lisbon Falls, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 7, at Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital in Grand Rapids, Minn.

Patricia was born in 1925 in Lewiston to Carl and Vivian Bailey. She graduated from Lisbon Falls High School and attended school for nursing in Boston, Mass. During World War II, Patricia worked at Bath Iron Works. She was married on Oct. 26, 1945, to Robert G. Peterson in Lisbon Falls, and moved to St. Paul, Minn., where she was employed with Brown & Bigellow Paper Company. Patricia returned to Maine and then moved to Grand Rapids, Minn., in 2008 to be near her family.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Marjorie (Peter) Lavalier of Deer River, Minn.; two sons, Robert C. (Sheila) Peterson of Cloquet, Minn., and Jeffrey (Janice) Peterson of Woodbury, Minn.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband of 40 years, Robert G. Peterson; and daughter, Linda Sunwall.
