TURNER — New Ventures Maine is offering a free workshop, Budgeting Basics, from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Oct. 18, at School Administrative District 52 Adult Education, 486 Turner St.
Attendees will learn about the basic components for building a budget. They will also discuss money-tracking, goal-setting, challenges, ways to reduce expenses, and how understanding the overall financial situation in creating a budget that works.
