GORHAM — A tanker truck tipped over and spilled 1,000 gallons of fuel on a rotary in Gorham, Maine.

The truck was carrying about 5,000 gallons of fuel when it tipped over at the intersection of Routes 114 and 112 on Thursday night. Roads in the area were closed until early Friday morning.

The Portland Press Herald reports the truck was carrying gasoline and diesel fuel. The fuel that didn’t spill was transferred to another tanker truck.
