LEWISTON — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce continues its Technology Series with What do you know about “IT?” — Repairing or Enhancing Your Computer System.

The seminar will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, in the chamber’s conference room, 415 Lisbon St., Lewiston. Cost is $25 for members, $50 for nonmembers.

Presenter will be Jon Levesque, president and owner of The Computer Place Inc., a leading managed services provider in Central Maine, serving the needs of more than 300 small businesses. He resides in Auburn with his wife and their three children.

The session will present a broad overview with discussion on minimizing multitasking, antivirus, maintenance, background processes, housekeeping, system restoration, adjusting visual effects, third-party software, indexing, power settings, disk cleanup and some minor advanced tools for keeping the system clean.
