NEW VINEYARD — A handmade dollhouse constructed and donated by Lenny Ellis will be raffled off to benefit the library Dec. 17.
This log home has two levels and is complete with handcrafted furniture made of cherry, oak and bird’s eye maple. There are tables and chairs, a rocking chair, benches, a hutch and a bed, as well as a natural stone fireplace.
Tickets may be purchased at the library. They cost $1 per ticket or $5 for six. Ticket holders do not need to be present to win.
Ellis, of New Vineyard, has made over 200 dollhouses. He will discuss how he constructs the houses at the New Vineyard Library Craft and Bake Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at Smith Hall on Route 27.
