When it comes to attracting business and job creation to Maine, Sen. Eric Brakey understands what it takes.

I have spent much of my professional life facilitating new businesses, so I have seen how difficult an environment Maine can be for developing economic opportunity. With some of the highest taxes in the nation and so many unnecessary bureaucratic obstacles to contend with, Maine has lagged behind in job creation for decades.

Brakey is working diligently to lower taxes, cut red tape and reform the broken welfare system. He understands that real economic growth and job opportunity come when you empower people, not government.
