This Nov. 8, I am proudly voting to re-elect Eric Brakey as state senator.

When I served in the Legislature and then on the Auburn City Council, I have always made senior citizens one of my top priorities and worked hard to make sure that they received the services they needed. Sen. Brakey has proven that is one of his priorities as well.

As chairman of the Health and Human Services Committee, he helped identify $4 million in desperately-needed funding for senior home-care services.

He also fought to secure state funding for a new Edward Little High School, so that all residents — especially seniors on a fixed income — would not get a spike in their local property taxes when it is built.

Sen. Brakey genuinely cares about all Maine seniors.

Residents of Auburn, New Gloucester, Poland, Minot and Mechanic Falls should keep Eric Brakey working for them.
