Wilton Library book sale

WILTON — A book sale to benefit the Wilton Free Public Library will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at Western Maine Enterprises, 128 Weld St., next to the Town Office.

This by donation book sale will feature books in good condition for readers of all ages and tastes.

Fall craft EXTRA-vaganza

LIVERMORE FALLS — For those who started a project but will never finish and need someone to take it off their hands, during the Livermore Falls Women’s Club will host the Fall Craft EXTRA-vaganza

It will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Livermore Community Building on Church Street.

Participants can earn money for the holidays by selling  extra fabric, yarn, scrapbooking or woodworking supplies, patterns, craft books, cookbooks, rick rack, etc. 

The table rental for an 8-foot table is $15 with the proceeds funding the many charities that the Women’s Club supports.

Attice Treasure sale Oct. 15

RUMFORD — The Rumford Hospital Auxiliary will hold their Attic Treasure sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, in the lower level of 209 Lincoln Ave.

Items include small furniture, artwork, holiday decor, books, and project and craft supplies.

Finnish society meeting

WEST PARIS — The Finnish-American Heritage Society of Maine will hold its regular monthly meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16.

Following a brief business meeting, Carol and Larry Labossiere will present a program on their recent visit to Ireland.

The public is invited to attend and share in the coffee social.
