HARRISON — Bolsters Mills United Methodist Church will serve its famous chicken pie supper, the last of the season, at 5 and 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15. If needed, there will be a 7 p.m. seating.
Walk-ins are welcome, but the church recommends reservations be made the morning of the supper between 9 a.m. and noon.

TURNER — The annual Harvest Supper put on by the North Turner Union Presbyterian Church is slated from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the GAR Hall on Howes Corner Road. This is the final church supper until next year.
This supper also marks the final chance to bid on this year’s handmade quilt. Members of the congregation work together each spring to produce a quilt, which is put on silent auction throughout the supper season beginning in late March or early April with the famous Mud Supper. The winner of this year’s quilt will be announced at the end of Harvest Supper. Each square of the quilt represents a Bible story or particular verse or some of the many quilt pattern versions of crosses.
Cost: By donation.
Proceeds go to various outreach missions including the Turner Food Bank and the Community Clothing Center.
