SOUTH PARIS — Sam Smith found the back of the net four times to lead visiting Mt. Blue past Oxford Hills 7-2 in a KVAC boys’ soccer game Monday at the Gouin Athletic Complex.

Chris Marshall tallied two goals and Alden Thompson-Vought added one for the Cougars (2-7-3). Marshall, Thompson-Vought and Eli Yeaton all notched assists.

Riley Gates and Shane Kubicek scored for the Vikings, who got three saves in goal from Wyatt Rider. Caleb Talbot (six) and Tucker Carleton (one) combined for seven saves for Mt. Blue.

Girls’ soccer

Greely 2, Gray-New Gloucester 0

GRAY — Anna DeWolfe and Ellie Schad both scored before halftime to lift Greely past host Gray-New Gloucester, 2-0, in a WMC girls’ soccer game at Myles Burbank Field on Monday.

Brooke Obar added an assist for the Rangers (10-3).

Chelsea Davis made six saves in net for the Patriots (6-6), while Molly Matthews stopped two shots for Greely.
