LEWISTON — Patty Weidler has joined the Maine Music Society board of directors.

Weidler holds degrees from Cornell University, the University of Maine in Orono, and the University of Maine School of Law. For many years, she lived in the Bryant Pond area and taught secondary alternative education, adult education and college courses, mostly in the fields of language arts and math.

She moved to the Lewiston-Auburn area over 12 years ago and practiced family law and workers’ compensation at Linnell, Choate & Webber. She’s self-employed as a guardian ad litem.

Her hobbies include gardening, music, sewing and quilting. She volunteers at the Courthouse Assistance Project and sings alto with the Maine Music Society Chorale.
