If legislation was proposed that singled out one race or group of people for taxation, people would think that’s abhorrent. Yet, supporters of Question 2 have no reservation about singling out the so-called “wealthy” to pay for what they want.

What a wonderful lesson for our children. “If you don’t have what you want, steal it from someone who has the audacity to succeed.”

Schools are not failing for lack of funds. Schools are failing because teachers aren’t allowed to teach, students aren’t allowed to fail, too many parents have checked out, and too many more never checked in.

Voting “yes” on Question 2 is like spitting into the wind — you might think the bad taste is out of your mouth, but the mess will end up right back in your face.

Tax-and-spend never works. I can’t image that discriminate-tax-and-spend will fare much better.
