LEWISTON — David Eugene Slattery, 57, of Sabattus passed away Saturday, Oct. 15, from CHF at St. Mary’s, with his loving wife, Ruth, granddaughter and children by his side.
He loved the 49ers. David worked at Mid-Maine Waste. He was a member of East Auburn Baptist Church.
David is survived by his parents, Joe and Inez Slattery; beloved wife, Ruth Slattery; children, David Lagasse, David, Amy, Adam, Shawn Turner, Matthew and Danny Young; brothers, Bill and Joey; sister, Susan and spouses from South Carolina; brother-in-law, Bob and Jodi Simeone and sister-in-law, Anita Simeone from Massachusetts.; his loving dog, Buddy; great companion cats, Cry Baby, Tiger and Oreo; many grandchildren; and Grampa’s private nurse, Ashlynn Turner.
