Dozens of people called or sent emails about the great times they have had at Larry “Sugar Bear” Bisbee’s Country Folk Music Theatre and Museum on Route 2 in East Dixfield. Several recalled that Bisbee was a popular radio DJ in the ’70s. Keith Howard left a message with his entry that he made the larger than life wood sculpture more than 10 years ago. His voice mail included: “He needs a paint job before he turns into a logger.” In a random drawing of correct entries, Ken Gould of Wayne was chosen as the winner of a $20 Hannaford gift card. He mentioned, “I used to go quite often when they had shows. My wife’s brother played there and I miss it. It’s been about a year since they’ve had a show open to the public.”
