AUBURN — The Auburn Recreation Department announces November and December events.

Thanksgiving Feast: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Rolly’s Diner in New Auburn. Turkey and all of the fixings will be served, along with dessert. Cost is $15 per person. There will be raffles, games, a 50/50 and prizes. Advance tickets are on sale through Nov. 5 at the Auburn Recreation Department.

Shopping trip to South Portland: Thursday, Nov. 17. The Seniors will visit Christmas Tree Shops, Five Below and Burlington Coat Factory, if desired. Attendees will be responsible for paying for their lunch at Olive Garden. Van leaves at 10 a.m. and returns around 4 p.m. Cost is $5 per person. Advance registration is available at the Auburn Recreation Department.

Casco Bay Wind Symphony Christmas Concert and Silent Auction: Saturday, Dec. 10. Concert is titled The Many Moods of Christmas. Van leaves Pettengill Park at 11 a.m. and returns about 6 p.m. Attendees will be responsible for paying for their lunch at Ocean Gardens Restaurant and Tavern. Concert is from 3 to 5 p.m. Tickets are limited, and advance registration at Auburn Recreation Department is required.

Public Seniors Holiday Luncheon: Thursday, Dec. 15, at the Hasty Community Center in Pettengill Park. Hors d’oeuvres will be served at 11 a.m., with dinner at noon. Meal includes Parmesan-crusted chicken, rice and dessert. There will be games, raffles and a 50/50. Attendees must be 55 and older. Advance tickets are available until Dec. 12.

Tickets are available for the seven-day Bermuda cruise on the Norwegian Dawn on May 5, 2017. Ship will leave Boston. Bus transportation will be available from Pettengill Park to Boston Harbor and back.
