1958 – 2016

AUBURN — Anita P. Gauthier, 58, of Greene passed away peacefully following a long illness on Friday, Oct. 28, with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Lewiston, March 17, 1958, the daughter of Rosaire and Irene (Raymond) Delorme. After graduating from Lewiston High School, she was employed for many years with Jones & Vining. Most recently she was a PCA with Attendant Services.

She will always be most known for her love of animals. Besides helping animals in need, she raised goats, sheep, ducks, chickens and more on her small farm. She loved the companionship of her dog, JD and her seven cats.

Survivors include her father, Rosaire of Lewiston; son, Brian of Greene; two daughters, Becky and husband, Chris Hodgdon, of Gray, Rose of Lewiston; three brothers, Marcel and Leo of Lisbon, as well as Roland of Greene; two sisters, Simonne of Auburn, and Georgette and husband, Joseph Gobble, of Providence, R.I.
