LEWISTON — Geiger recently presented its quarterly Geiger Star Awards to four associates.
The recipients were nominated by fellow associates in recognition of their efforts to work the values of “The Geiger Way.” The associates, by practicing the principles of continuous improvement, embrace fresh and innovative ways to add value to customers and positively contribute to the company’s business.
Rita Gleason joined Geiger through an acquisition in March of this year and during the transition had to learn the systems and continue processing business for both companies. Working from home, she had to rely on Skype, phone calls, and screen sharing to get assistance.
Three associates received their awards as members of a Geiger All-Star Team. Kerry Worden, regional service manager, Jim Habzda, senior vice president sales and marketing, and Jamie Ondrejko, division sales vice president, went above and beyond to onboard new recruits during another associate’s leave. They exhibited the utmost patience and understanding and utilized their extensive expertise to work through every challenge that came their way, resulting in a happy new selling team.
