MEXICO — Mrs. Jeanette Theresa DeRoehn, 89, died Sunday, Oct. 30, at her residence on Highland Terrace in Mexico.

Born in Rumford on Aug. 22, 1927, she was a daughter of Hercule Arthur and Mary Louise (Martin) Arsenault. She attended Rumford schools and worked for 10 years at Mexico High School as a study hall monitor.

Jeanette was a communicant of the Parish of the Holy Savior St. Athanasius—St. John Church in Rumford and was a former member of the Oakdale Country Club in Mexico.

She was married in Rumford on Oct. 17, 1948, to Robert W. DeRoehn. He died in Mexico on Nov. 19, 1984.

Survivors include two sons, Gary DeRoehn and his companion, Linda LeBlanc, of Mexico and Alan DeRoehn of Rumford; a daughter, Karen Ferro of Jericho, Vt.; and three grandchildren, Cory Alan DeRoehn, Chelsea Lucy DeRoehn and Valerie Hazel DeRoehn.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert; a son, Bruce Robert DeRoehn; sisters, Rita MacDonald, Mae Rouleau Laperle, Irene Pingree and Ruth Arsenault; and a brother, Nelson Arsenault.
