FARMINGTON — Two University of Maine at Farmington student clubs are holding several get-out-the-vote events on campus this week.

The UMF College Democrats are hosting a meet-and-greet with Emily Cain, Democratic candidate for Maine’s 2nd Congressional District, from noon to 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 4.

The UMF College Republicans are hosting a meet-and-greet with state Sen. Tom Saviello, R-Wilton, of Senate District 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2.

Lance Harvell, former Maine representative and Republican candidate for House District 113, will be on campus from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, Nov. 1-3.

These events will take place in the Olsen Student Center.

Additional get-out-the-vote reminders will be co-hosted on Election Day by UMF College Republicans, UMF College Democrats and the UMF Campus Residence Council.
