I support Eric Brakey for the Maine Senate. While I may disagree with his position on particular topics, he engages in respectful dialogue and often incorporates my suggestions, while not necessarily changing his position.
I met him almost a year before he was elected to his first term. He was a regular attendee at most community events. The surprise came that even after he was elected, he continued to stay involved and attend most community events and still worked.
Too often, candidates meet with constituents during a campaign and never see them again once the campaign is over. Community activities provide an opportunity to chat with my state senator, Eric Brakey. I appreciate that access and his service.
