LEWISTON — The State Fire Marshal’s Office said Friday afternoon that a 63-year-old Lewiston man died Thursday from injuries received after pouring gasoline on an outdoor fire last month.

Michael Garrett of 30 Strawberry Ave. was burned Oct. 27 near his home and had been hospitalized.

Investigators say he used gasoline on a campfire and was severely burned.
