LEWISTON — The Rev. Richard J. Clifford will celebrate the 50th anniversary of his ordination as a priest by presiding at the Mass at 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.

Clifford was born in Lewiston in 1934, and graduated from St. Dominic High School in 1952.

He is the Emeritus Professor of Bible at Boston College.
