I am writing to support the election of Jim Handy to represent House District 58 and to re-elect Heidi Brooks to represent House District 61.

I have worked with both Handy and Brooks and know that they are dedicated and principled public servants. They understand the struggles of hardworking Lewiston families and are effective in fighting for them.

For decades, Handy has been a passionate advocate for Lewiston’s public schools and for making college more affordable for families.

Brooks has established a well-deserved reputation in Augusta for her tireless work on behalf of affordable health care for all Maine people. Both of them have a strong record of supporting seniors citizens, veterans and persons with disabilities.

Both of them will put the needs of Lewiston’s families first. I hope others will join me in support of Jim Handy and Heidi Brooks.
