LEWISTON —  Justin Lindsay & Bunk will rock the Franco Center with a show at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4. The doors and bar open at 7:30.  

Justin Lindsay is a 16-year-old phenomenal guitarist who attends Scarborough High School. He’s been in the blues scene since he was 11, performing multiple times at the Maine Blues Festival in Naples and at local open mic nights. He is a member of his high school jazz band and also has an alternative rock band called Work in Progress that won the MAMM Slam 2016 Battle of the Bands. He also had the honor of being part of the Playing for Change video where he was filmed at the North Atlantic Blues Festival in Rockland in 2015.

The band includes Thom Hanes doing lead vocals and who is an exceptional harp player with more than 20 years of experience. He is also a member of the award-winning blues band, “Poke Chop and the Other White Meats” and is a native of Atlanta. He played in the south for years before moving to Maine. He has played his brand of high-energy harp for audiences in New England, Chicago, Memphis, Georgia, Texas, Louisiana, Canada and, in 2014, at U.S. military bases in the Marshall Islands.

Admission is $5 at the door. The Dolard and Priscilla Gendron Franco Center is handicap-accessible. Parking is included in the price of the ticket. All proceeds to benefit the Franco Center.
