In response to the article, “RSU 16 request annoys selectmen,” (Nov. 2), we would like people in our communities to know that the RSU 16 School Board is fully aware of the steps being taken related to the bus bay at the Poland Town Garage.
Representatives of the RSU 16 board met with the Poland town selectmen on Jan. 5, 2016, to share documents related to the topic and requested a review and determination of ownership. In an effort to move the process along and to fully understand the situation, our attorney has requested further information from the town.
The RSU 16 School Board and superintendent are fully committed to working with the town to resolve the issue at hand.
