1931 – 2016

AUBURN — William R. Snow, 85, of Lewiston, passed away at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice in Auburn on Saturday, Nov. 5.

Born in Lewiston on Feb. 12, 1931, he was the son of Asa and Floris Forbes Snow. He graduated from Edward Little High School, Class of 1949, and worked as a die maker in the local shoe industry.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Caribbean cruises and restoring old trunks.

Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, the former Lucille Roux of Lewiston; two sons, Glen W. Snow of Lewiston and Brian W. Snow and wife, Michelle, of Van Buren; a grandson, Johnathan Snow of Massachusetts; and a granddaughter, Alissa Snow Chute and husband, Dan, of Caribou.
