CHESTERVILLE — Tiffany Estabrook and Tyler Jenness were elected to the Board of Selectmen on Tuesday to complete terms of members who resigned in September.
Estabrook beat Steve Welch, 315-304, to fill the seat held by David Archer. She will serve until the annual town meeting in 2019.
Write-in votes for the position were: Maitland Lord, 8; Anne Lambert, 5; Tyler Jenness, 5; David Archer, 2; Patricia Hastings, 2; and Gary Paul, Pat Wheeler, Ross Clair, Nicholas Wills, Doug Rawlings, Tony Gill, Linda Grippe, Earl Martin and John Archer, with one vote each.
Jenness received 70 write-in votes to Maitland Lord’s 61 to fill the seat held by Anne Lambert. Jenness will serve until the annual town meeting in 2017.
Write-in votes for the position were: Estabrook, 22; Lambert, 19; Welch, 6; David Archer, 5; Scott Gray, 4; Edward Hastings, 3; Patty Hastings, 2; and Shelly Howard, 2. Receiving one vote each were David Parker, Katherine Gregory, Robert Millay, Earl Martin, Jim Grippe, Dennis LaFontaine, Fay Morley, Judy Rawlings, Greg Soule, Steve Brown, Pat Wheeler, Orin Knowles, Bud Knowles, Joe Decker, Patrick Carleton, Cecil Kendall, Doug Harris, Heather Wheeler, Patty Hastings, Kim MacKey, and Doug Harris.
