No. 3 SCARBOROUGH (8-2) at No. 1 BONNY EAGLE (9-0)

Friday, 7 p.m.

A Bonny Eagle-Thornton Academy rematch was all set up … until the Red Storm went and upset the Trojans. What we get now is a rematch of a week two game that the Scots won, 21-7. But that was on the road. Bonny Eagle is looking for its second state title in four years, and have been to the regional final in each of the past four years. Do the Red Storm have another upset in them?

Class A North final

No. 2 WINDHAM (6-3) at No. 1 PORTLAND (8-1)

Friday, 7 p.m.

This is a rematch of last year’s regional final (which was fairly low-scoring) and a midseason matchup (which was high-scoring). The Bulldogs won both, and they look unbeatable right now. But never discount the Eagles and head coach Matt Perkins in a big game. Portland certainly won’t, despite what the recent results say.

Class B South final

No. 2 BIDDEFORD (9-1) at No. 1 KENNEBUNK (10-0)

Friday, 7 p.m.

The two regional rivals were class of B South this year. The Rams want to get back to the state final, where they lost in heartbreaking fashion three years ago. The Tigers want to get back to a state final for the first time since coach Brian Curit’s first tenure with the team. This is a matchup of great longtime coaches and solid teams — exactly what regional finals are supposed to be.

No. 2 BREWER (8-1) at No. 1 BRUNSWICK (9-0)

Friday, 7 p.m.

The question all year in Class B North has been this: Can anybody stop the Dragons? Nobody has yet, including the Witches, who got whipped by Brunswick but have beaten everyone else. The Dragons have won the regional final two years in a row. They want a third, and a chance to finally get a gold ball that Marshwood has captured from them the past two years.

Class C South final

No. 2 WELLS (9-1) at No. 1 CAPE ELIZABETH (10-0)

Saturday, 12:30 p.m.

In Class C South this year, it was Cape Elizabeth and Wells, then everyone else. The Capers get this game at home thanks to a narrow win at Wells during the regular season. The rematch will be on turf and during the day. This one might come down to just one or two plays, but will be big-hitting nonetheless.

Class C North final

No. 3 WINSLOW (9-1) at No. 1 MOUNT DESERT ISLAND (8-1)

Friday, 7 p.m.

The Black Raiders have owned this conference the past three years, and this will actually be their fifth straight regional final (they were in the West — now the South — in 2012). MDI earned the top seed by way of Crabtree points, and homefield advantage always helps, but the Trojans already have one loss to Winslow on their resume, and might be underdogs at their own place.

Class D South final

No. 2 LISBON (7-1) at No. 1 WINTHROP/MONMOUTH (8-0)

Saturday, 12:30 p.m.

The season started with these two teams facing off, and the Ramblers winning big on the road. That road has now brought them back together, this time in Winthrop. The Greyhounds are a vastly different team than the one that lost. The Ramblers have rolled in almost every week since. Should be a good one, and there will likely be surprises.

Class D North final

No. 3 DEXTER (8-2) at No. 1 MAINE CENTRAL INSTITUTE (10-0)

Friday, 7 p.m.

MCI has its sights set on a third straight state title berth, and Oak Hill won’t be there to meet the Huskies this time. The Tigers already knocked off one higher-seeded team in the playoffs, pushing aside Orono to get here. But this is MCI’s time of year, and a 36-2 Huskies win during the regular season can’t give Dexter much confidence.
